Mirai Naturals began with a personal frustration. Like so many women, I'd spent years relying on regular salon appointments to keep my colour looking its best.

 

The Move That Changed Everything

When we moved to New Zealand, that routine wasn't so simple anymore. The salons here came with a price tag that made regular colour appointments feel out of reach, and I needed a different way to manage my hair.

Trial and Error

 

So I started testing hair dye shampoos, one after another. Some just didn't work, leaving colour patchy or fading fast. Others worked but smelled overwhelmingly chemical, the kind of scent that lingers for days. None of them felt like a real solution.

The Breaking Point

 

Along the way, my hair got weaker with every application: thinning, losing its shine, feeling rough to the touch. I wanted colour that didn't cost me the health of my hair. I wanted something gentle enough to use often, without the trade off.

 

Looking for a Better Way

 

So I started looking for a different approach, one built on natural ingredients rather than harsh chemical shortcuts. Something that would protect and strengthen hair with regular use, not wear it down. Something that would leave hair soft, not stripped. And, something that actually smelled great, because if you're washing your hair often, it should be a small pleasure, not a chore.

That search became Mirai Naturals. We built a colour shampoo and conditioner infused with time honoured botanicals, designed to nourish as it colours: softening hair, supporting its strength, and covering grey with full coverage that builds beautifully over a few applications. No harsh trade offs. No compromise between colour and condition.
